I joined well before the 2008 hack fest.Thank goodness I didn't see any of the images left behind. I've been to one JAD party and had the privilege of hanging out with Drea and Michael on a visit to DC.
Wife of 1 hard headed diabetic. (He had triple bypass 1.5 yrs ago) and mother of 2. Jayson has graduated from HS and Rachel will be attending my school for the next two years. 1 dog, Mickey and 2 cats Sheldon and Amy - yes after the Big Bang Characters.
After years of teaching math, I am switching to keyboarding and Texas History. Should be fun. Besides teaching, I sell skin care and health products. I'm also working on a website for a local hardware store. I like keeping busy.

:: bad penny slips in and takes a seat at the bar :: Lucy from Austin here. Finally surfacing after an interesting four year haul. I'm working as a wireless hotspot tech for AT&T and a part time customer care agent for a pedometer company. I'm wondering if the magic cookie cart made it here from the last place...

I'm Debby with a Y, not to be confused with Debbie with an IE who is also here! I joined the boards in late 1997, so while I'm not an original member, I've been here off and on for quite some time. I've been to one official JAD party, a few unofficial smaller gatherings at members' homes, and have hosted a few of those smaller gatherings. I'm very happy to call several past and present JAD members "friend".
My life seems to make a drastic change every few years; currently I live in my motorhome in Key Largo. I have two adorable toy spaniels. That's about it for now.

Hey all! Those who know who I am, awesome! Those who don't, there's not much you're missing, haha! I figure after ghosting the forums on my dad's account for the last 9 years, I might as well get my tail in here. Stoked for the TN trip (Tail of the Dragon - WOOT!) and can't wait to see all y'all's lovely faces! Yes, I will be bringing Cards Against Humanity again.
Cheers!

Darwin here (AKA "Chef Bouy"). I've been around JAD for 15 years now and those idiots have not run me off yet. This year will be my 4th trip to hillbilly turf (TN) with this group. By the way, I hear Dan-the shoe thief is showing up, so mind your footwear. Its a loooong way to the nearest shoe store from Walden - especially on a Sunday morning when you have a plane the hell outta town to catch!!

I'm riding down with my boots and am wearing sandals the rest of the time. That's 2 pair. With my addiction, I'll make it back with enough footwear to live another 5 years!!!!!! BEWARE DARWIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heigh-ho heigh-ho, Natalie here. Also known as Taylor and, "Wait, aren't you a minor?" The answer is no.
My parents are Kevin and Rachel. They decided that introducing me to you guys was a good idea, and they've never been more correct. I've been to two parties and met several of you crazy people, and everyone made me feel right at home. I was not, in fact, here for the big hack, so I will have no clue what you're talking about. Anywho, hello and I will see you all through the screen!

Willing to drink David under the table twice a day and four times on Sunday. Howdy, I'm David and I'm the guy that Dan was referring to two years ago. Since he outweighs me by 100+ pounds I would say that he doesn't have a very good talking point to be proud of here. But since he's Dan, he out-drank me in 2003 or thereabouts, and we're drinking buddies for life he gets to talk shit. I'm a jack of all trades these days, pretty much semi-retired trophy husband. I know how to build and fix things. I showed up around here in the early part of this current century after reading Mary Landesman's "warning" to Ray. I was working technical support at the time for a small local ISP and Ray was saying everything I wanted to say to "people who have no business near a computer". I got locally famous for doing "personals translations" where I turned people's personal dating ads into what they "really" meant. I blame Maryellen for the inspiration. I mosty lurk these days. My goal if I ever post is to make you laugh or make you think or both.

I am a retired Sailor, Living on Cape Cod, MA. I was a member of the previous forums, but lost my way and just recently found my way back. I was one of the old plank owners, as Ray had grandfathered those of us who had lifetime paid subscriptions to JAD.
I love to travel and explore places I've never been before. I like drinking wine, reading, biking, hiking, and watching baseball and football.
I look forward to getting to know the gang again, and making myself at home!

Your history goes way before my time. We're a pretty small group these days but always happy to have some old members find their way back. We even still have JAD parties here and there. Walden Lodge last July was the most recent. Did you ever attend a JAD party? Oh and by the way I also like drinking wine and biking. Reading is good but I have a hard time choosing what to read. The other stuff? I'm more into hockey being Canadian.

Guess who's bacK It's everybody's favorite chubby Eskimo (thus the name, I use Skmo in a lot of my ID) back among the world of the sober and un-medicated. To everyone I saw in the Kansas party, I apologize if I hit on you, I was wasted beyond my mind. I'll get caught up when I get report cards caught up.
I'm teaching again, I'm back down in Utah (where I NEVER expected to be) but I'm far enough out in the boonies it's actually really nice.
Good to be back.
