Their first album came out during the first year I was in college. I saw them live in concert while I was at college. Wonderful show!

I tried to reach out to Judy yesterday. Call went to voicemail. Has anyone head from her?

I guess it's a bit early for most of you left-ponders, but anybody watching the game?
(It's Rugby. The sport that you got your football from. So to you, it's football plus kicking, minus throwing the ball forwards)
C'mon Ingerland!

It ended 45-7, and you were extremely lucky to get the 7! (Scored in over-time).

Sorry Malc but I can nearly guarantee nobody this side was watching. Not out of disrespect but out of lack of interest because we just don’t follow it.

Are there any team sports that the USA play internationally and are watched by their population?

There might be an international soccer team. I'm not sure. Otherwise, the only one I can think of is WRC and that barely gets any coverage.

I didn't play in any World Cup.
I still don't understand the whole we did this we did that thing that sports fans love to say. You just sat on your ass and watched someone else do something.

I know. It was painful. Fair play to them they played to their strenghts. We just have to thrash Samoa and Russia now.

It's fairly widely watched. I know several families who followed the world cup and I saw a bunch on Facebook around that time. I don't get much into sports so I couldn't tell you more though.

The weather we're going to get this week is crazy. It's already rained for 3 days, then record heat tomorrow (they're saying 86F) then by this weekend a low of 40. Air con and heat in the same week.

Our rain in coming starting today, but today's high is 86 with a low of 63. Tomorrow's high is 64 with a low of 43. I don't think it even hit 60 yesterday. This up/down weather gets people sick.

Probably why I can't rid of the cold I've got. 2 weeks now.

We're battening down the hatches for Hurricane Lorenzo (well it will be Storm Lorenzo by the time it reaches Ireland) to hit tomorrow evening. It's only the second hurricane to ever reach Ireland. The last was Ophelia last year. It will probably be just another windy day with a few idiot kite surfers out on the west coast.

It was indeed. We used to have a family that lived on the railway embankment outside the front of my house. Then they disappeared for a few years, but it would appear they are back. A neighbour saw one on his early morning walk a few weeks ago, I saw one in broad daylight last week, having a face off with a cat. (The cat won). If this one is going to be a regular visitor, I might try to feed it as well. I've repositioned my camera trap so it covers a larger part of the garden, from a higher elevation tonight, so we'll see if it comes again. So, how do you feed a fox, in a way that cats can't get at the food? Hmmmmm.
