Make and model will be needed for an answer. I had a cheap dryer years ago that would burn out an element yearly but they were only $5 and easy to change. It's a Kenmore Ultra Fabric Care Heavy Duty 80 series.

Here's a question for those who love semantics.
When do you play a sport, and when not?
I might play football, darts or even cards, but I would never play skiing or boxing.
Why?

I am not an expert (in this anyway) but I think there might be an element of team sports in this.

I might also play backgammon or other board games. I definitely play hockey and golf.
Interesting question though.

Is it the “ing” on the end? Tried to think of others. You don’t play figure skating either. You don’t play cycling even though it is also a sport.

My first thought is if it's a game, you keep score and usually have some interaction with your opponent in the course of doing the thing, you'd play it, like football or cricket. With bowling, even though you keep score you don't need the opponent to do your thing, you aren't playing off of each other, same with skiing, racing of any sort, etc. Yes, with boxing and wrestling your opponent's actions affect yours, but is it a game? Maybe if the name is a gerund you don't play it?

"Play" is generally for team sports, especially those with a ball.
"Go" is for those that end in "ing"
"Do" tends to be for those that don't need equipment.
Of course there are always exceptions...!

It does have something to do with the “ing” at least in examples I have found. All the words are nouns. Football, boxing, skiing, hockey, etc. But if you look up definitions on Meriam-Webster the “ing” definitions begin with “the act of....” as the definition.

I have to ask here because when I went to the doctor for it the last time, I was told it was nothing. Well, nothing doesn't cause pain.
Guys, do your balls ever ache? Like almost a throbbing pain. Sometimes it even hurts to cup them.
I had a scan done a few years ago because it became uncomfortable to walk. Nothing was found. I actually chalked it up to stress because I'd been worried about a lump. I'd found on a testicle that turned out to just be a cyst. Once I got the results the pain went away without doing anything. It just came back the other day.
I did consider the possibility of saddle sore because I'd just gotten my bike back on the road. However, it's a different ache than that. Also, I hadn't been riding the last time it was a problem.
Might as well ask here where there isn't a copay.

I don’t think it is normal to have pain like that. Might wanna see a Doc again even if just the peace of mind helps.

My doctor says some "testicular" pain is normal for some one my age and it's sort of like a headache. It didn't start until I was after 75 so, I'd say your pain is not normal. Some days I wish they could be removed easily!

Sometimes it even hurts to cup them. Do you wear boxers or briefs? Could they be too tight (compression) or too loose (lack of support)?
Does it happen at any particular time of the day or randomly/ all the time?
Is there any association with any activities?
Is there a link to hot/ cold temperatures? Even just showering?

Nope. When I made the post, I was laying in bed watching TV. Often notice it when I'm either driving or just sitting around doing nothing.
Gimpy described it best. It's like a headache down south.

I am 60 now and I have never had the boys ache unless I got hit there playing sports. But, normal day to day they never ache. I was thinking along the same line as Graham with the boxer, brief, or boxer brief question. I know I am not a fan of boxers since everything moves around too much. I wear boxer-briefs and things are just fine down there.
I do believe that pain there can't be good and I would get a second opinion.

Agree with above. Pain is a warning sign. It could be muscular/hernia but still needs looking at.

The Lululemon men’s boxer briefs are the underwear that will ruin all other underwear for you forever. Tell ‘em I sent ya! BTW they are pricey but oh so comfortable!

I went to the website but what the hell is Modal material. I am a big fan of Hanes, 100% cotton because it breathes. Does the modal material breathe? I am skeptical and would try it but if I don't like it might be a waste of money since they are pricey. Hmm...

ETA They are breathable. Lululemon is all about athletic wear so everything they do is breathable.

I have an ASUS Zen Pad Z10 from Verizon. I have a 32Gb SD Card that is set up as part of the internal storage, which means that some apps are on the main storage , some are on the SD card & some may even be split. The SD card is also where all photos, videos & music are stored.
The SD card is almost full, but the main storage has plenty of room. I want to move some files from the card to internal, but I can't figure out how to add a new folder to the main storage.
Also, if I eventually get a new larger SD card, how do I go about getting everything from the old card to the new card?

Transferring files to internal storage should be as simple as selecting the files and seeing a menu pop up somewhere on the screen that contains the move option. I can. Select my files, hit the three dots menu in the upper right corner and choose move.
Transferring files between cards would be easiest using a PC. Copy to the PC. Copy to the new card.

I know how to do this & have done so in the past. The problem I have is the card is treated as part of the internal storage, and the file manager app doesn't distinguish between the two. I think that once I create a new folder on the internal storage, I'll be able to move files. The problem is I can't figure out how to create a folder on the internal storage. I could probably remove the tie-in between the card & internal storage & then create a folder, but what will happen if I then make the card part of the internal storage again?

You could always buy an external USB SD card reader.
Take the card out, plug it into the reader and your PC and copy the files across.
Then install the new card, get it all sorted and then use the card reader to copy the files back to the SD card and thence onto the pad.

Question for you Right Ponders, would something like this be legal in your area? I know any photo I've ever seen of a European police car it's usually decked out in bright colors. What about this stealth marking shit?

Definitly legal here. I've seen plenty of plain clothes traffic cars with blue lights behind the grill. They are usually souped up versions of regular models so that they can turn on the speed as needed.

Generally they're used in places where anti-social or dangerous road use tend to happen, but the presence of a marked car would cause the perpetrators to stop what they're doing before enough evidence can be gathered for a prosecution.

Most definitely, and most coppers will tell you that they LOVE driving them. But, they are really plain, none of the silly faint writing in the picture. There are undetectable until the blue lights come on. One force has even used a plain truck (semi) so that they can see into the cabs of other truckers to see what they are doing (cooking lunch, watching a movie, reading the paper . . . ) I know any photo I've ever seen of a European police car it's usually decked out in bright colors How do you know?

There are undetectable until the blue lights come on. If you are observant you can recognise them by checking out the driver and passenger. I usually check out what drivers are doing when I am on the bike to try and predict their response to a particular situation. Blue shirt and stab proof vest is usually a giveaway.
